Join Cheryl France, head of Cambridge University Medical Education Group (CUMEG), as we interview world-leading doctors, scientists, and academics from the University of Cambridge Clinical School and others working in close partnership with the clinical school. Cheryl has a background in public health and has worked for the NHS and the Department of Health, before joining the Clinical School.
Focusing on contemporary issues in medicine, episodes will explore topics such as teaching palliative care, ethics and law in medicine, clinician and student support systems, and the student elective modules.
For the first episode of the podcast series, our host, Cheryl France, will be joined by Dr Diana Wood, Emeritus Clinical Dean of the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine. Diana will be providing an overview of the series, as well as discussing her thoughts on the future of medical education.
