The University of Cambridge, AstraZeneca, and Beijing municipal authorities have signed a strategic agreement to accelerate healthcare innovation by connecting the Cambridge and Beijing life sciences ecosystems. Building on a decade of collaboration, the partnership focuses on talent exchange, training in research commercialization, and medical leadership through Cambridge Enterprise and the School of Clinical Medicine. By linking the Discovery Centre in Cambridge with AstraZeneca’s new R&D hub in Beijing’s BioPark, the initiative aims to strengthen “lab-to-clinic” pathways and drive global progress in biopharma and medtech.
